Venditto Honored with the Leadership in Law Award

December 05, East Meadow, NY – Nicholas Venditto (resident of Massapequa), Partner in the Corporate/Securities Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, received the Leadership in Law Award from Long Island Business News on November 29th at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. The award recognizes those within the legal community who have achieved success in their profession, made contributions to the community and have had an impact on the legal industry.

Mr. Venditto’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions involving privately held companies, complex joint ventures, particularly in the real estate development space, private placements, commercial contracts, corporate governance matters and other general corporate matters.

He has participated in the firm’s mentoring program LIKE (Lawyers Involved in Kids’ Education) for the past four years, and serves as a weekly mentor to fourth and fifth grade students at Walnut Street School in Uniondale. The LIKE program is designed to help students develop their social and academic skills through one-on-one conversations, group activities and various word and number games.

Mr. Venditto earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Hofstra University.  He is admitted to practice in New York State.
