Shea To Be Honored for Top Retail Project

March 04, East Meadow, NY – J. Timothy Shea, Jr., (Port Jefferson) Partner in the Land Use and Zoning and Real Estate Groups at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, will be honored at Long Island Business News’ Real Estate, Architecture and Engineering Awards Dinner on March 26th at the Crest Hollow Country Club in the category of Top Retail Project

Based in the firm’s Hauppauge office, Mr. Shea concentrates on commercial and residential real estate, including but not limited to real estate transactions, land use and zoning applications and litigation, and real property litigation. He also has experience in both criminal and civil litigation, having successfully prosecuted appeals before the New York State Court of Appeals and the Appellate Term, Second Department.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Shea served as a staff attorney with the Legal Aide Society of Suffolk County and then for five years as an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Islip as the Director of Law Enforcement.

Mr. Shea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from Hobart College and his Juris Doctorate from Vermont School of Law in 1992. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York and is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
