Gauweiler and Stieglitz Named Partners

December 08, East Meadow, NY – We are pleased to announce that two of our attorneys, Heather L. Gauweiler (l) and Michelle L. Stieglitz (r), have been elevated to Partners at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP.

Heather L. Gauweiler (resident of Seaford), a Partner in the Banking/Commercial Lending Group, was previously an Associate in the East Meadow office. Her practice concentrates on the representation of institutional and private lenders in all aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions and asset-based lending.

Ms. Gauweiler earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in sociology from SUNY Cortland. She is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association.

In 2016, 2017 and 2018, she was named to the New York Metro Rising Stars list.

Michelle L. Stieglitz (resident of Amity Harbor), a Partner in the Real Estate Practice Group, was previously an Associate in the East Meadow office. She represents clients in all aspects of real estate law, including, but not limited to, commercial leasing, residential and commercial real estate transactions, development, downtown revitalization projects, land use and real estate financing.

Ms. Stieglitz earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Finance and Business Administration (with a dual concentration in Marketing and Management) from the John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University.  She earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Hofstra University School of Law. Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, she is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations.

In 2018, Ms. Stieglitz was named as one of Real Estate Weekly’s Rising Stars in Real Estate.
