Steven Sulsky is Of Counsel to the firm, and practices primarily with the Trust & Estates Group at Certilman Balin.
Mr. Sulsky represents clients in all aspects of estate planning and administration, with a special focus on issues involving IRAs and qualified retirement plan assets. He provides advice as to the tax aspects of sophisticated estate planning transactions, including intra-family gifts and sales of business and real estate interests.
Before joining our firm, Mr. Sulsky was a senior pension and estate planning editor for the RIA Group, participating in the launch of RIA Checkpoint. He has written and lectured extensively on employee benefit, small business and estate planning issues.
He participates in the firm’s Lawyers Involved with Kids’ Education (“LIKE”) program as a mentor to at-risk fourth and fifth graders in the Uniondale school district.
Mr. Sulsky earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University, a Juris Doctor from Boston University and a Master of Laws in Taxation degree from New York University. He is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
