Kevin J. Rutkowsky is a Partner in our Banking and Commercial Lending Group. He concentrates his practice on the representation of institutional lenders on multi-family and commercial real estate mortgage transactions, leasehold mortgages, construction loans, asset based facilities and revolving credit facilities. Mr. Rutkowsky also represents lenders on loan facilities to condominium boards and home owner associations secured by common charges and assessments.
Prior to joining Certilman Balin, Mr. Rutkowsky worked in portfolio management for an economic development agency where he focused on loan restructuring, distressed assets, property redevelopment and commercial loan workouts. Mr. Rutkowsky also managed a fund devoted to the beneficial reuse of dredged materials, and he served on numerous port-based initiatives.
He earned a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is admitted to practice in New York.
