Gruder and Turetsky Named To Top 10 Legal Eagles List

April 06, East Meadow, NY – Partners Glenn Gruder and Donna Turetsky were named to the Top 10 Legal Eagles List for 2016 by Long Island Pulse Magazine. Mr. Gruder earned his award in the areas of Civil and Criminal Litigation, and Ms. Turetsky in Trusts and Estates. The award dinner was held on Tuesday, March 29th at The Carltun at Eisenhower Park.

Glenn Gruder (resident of Smithtown), based in the firm’s Hauppauge office, Glenn B. Gruder is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Group. Mr. Gruder’s litigation expertise spans various areas of practice including real estate, zoning, first party property and casualty, and criminal defense. His experience in criminal law began with his position as a Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney from 1986 until 1992, where he served in the Narcotics Bureau from 1988 until 1992. Mr. Gruder obtained numerous felony convictions after trial on major narcotics cases. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in both the Eastern and Northern Districts of the Federal Courts in New York. A member of the New York and Suffolk County Bar Associations, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 1981 and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University in 1985.

Donna Turetsky (resident of East Hills), based in the firm’s East Meadow office, is a Partner in the Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Practice Groups. She has concentrated her practice since 1992 on trust and estate administration, elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, and guardianships. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. Ms. Turetsky is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
