Nair Signs On With Litigation Group

May 10, East Meadow - Sanjay Nair (Baldwin) has joined as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP. Prior to joining the firm, he was the Deputy County Attorney in the General Litigation Bureau of the Office of the Nassau County Attorney.

During the summer of 2007, Mr. Nair interned in the Municipal Transactions Bureau of the Office of the Nassau County Attorney. He then worked as a Law Assistant in the General Litigation Bureau before taking his position as a Deputy County Attorney. He gained experience in all aspects of civil rights, tort law, election law, and administrative law at the state and federal levels.

Mr. Nair earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2009. He served as Executive Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law & Policy. As an undergraduate at Vassar College, he majored in Political Science, minored in International Economics and earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2009.

He is admitted to practice in the state of New York and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
