February 17, East Meadow, NY - Carol Glick (Muttontown), a lawyer in the Bankrutpcy and Debtor/Creditor Rights Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, has been elected Secretary of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and will continue to serve on the board. Prior to joining Certilman Balin, Ms. Click served for nine years as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Dorothy Eisenberg, United States Bankruptcy Judge, at the Alfonse M. D’Amato Federal Courthouse, in Central Islip, New York. At Certilman Balin, Ms. Glick works alongside Glen Cove City Court Judge and Chapter 7 Trustee, Richard McCord, who is a Partner at the firm. Ms. Glick earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Humanities and Social Sciences from Adelphi University in 1987. She graduated from Hofstra Law School in 1990 and is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She has served on the board of The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence for nine years. In 2006, Ms. Glick and her husband were honored at the Coalition’s Annual Spring Gala, in recognition of their support. The Coalition is a not-for-profit organization, offering information and services related to domestic violence, abuse in dating relationships, abuse of the elderly, children who witness family violence and sexual assault.
