CB Susan McWalters

Susan L. McWalters is a Partner in our Litigation and Real Estate Practice Groups. Her practice is focused on all facets of commercial real estate including mortgage and tax lien foreclosure, title litigation, commercial transactions, and landlord/tenant matters.  She is also experienced in creditor’s rights litigation and the purchase and sale of commercial mortgages.  

Over the course of her career, she has represented institutional lenders in mortgage closings, and institutional lenders as creditors in both Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings. She has extensive litigation experience at both the trial and the appellate level. 

Ms. McWalters earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New York Law School, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an English minor from Stony Brook University.  

member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, she is admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as the New York Federal Eastern and Southern District Courts.
