| Paul S. Linzer is of counsel to the Criminal Law/ Labor Law Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, where he concentrates his practice on all aspects of criminal defense litigation, and public sector labor law litigation. Mr. Linzer represents the members of various police unions and the New York City firefighters in grievance arbitrations, improper labor practice proceedings, contract negotiations, and at Internal Affairs, disciplinary proceedings, or other administrative investigations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Linzer was an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney's Office for approximately eight years. Mr. Linzer earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1988, and a Juris Doctor from The American University, Washington College of Law in 1991. A member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations, as well as the Former Assistant District Attorney’s Association, Mr. Linzer is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Florida, as well as the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
