Steven Sulsky is Of Counsel to our firm, and practices primarily with the Trust & Estates Group. 

He represents clients in all aspects of estate planning and administration, with a special focus on issues involving IRAs and qualified retirement plan assets. He provides advice as to the tax aspects of sophisticated estate planning transactions, including intra-family gifts and sales of business and real estate interests.  He has extensive experience in handling federal and state gift and estate tax audits.  

Before joining our firm, Mr. Sulsky was a senior pension and estate planning editor for the RIA Group, participating in the launch of RIA Checkpoint. He has written and lectured extensively on employee benefit, small business and estate planning issues. 

Mr. Sulsky is a mentor in the firm’s Lawyers Involved with Kids’ Education (“LIKE”) program and donates an hourly weekly to a student deemed at-risk at Walnut Street Elementary School in Uniondale 

He earned Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University, a Juris Doctor from Boston University and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University.  He is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
