Kevin J. Rutkowsky is a Partner in the Commercial Lending Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP. His practice focuses on the representation of institutional lenders on multi-family and commercial real estate mortgage transactions, leasehold mortgages, construction loans, asset based facilities and revolving credit facilities. Kevin also represents lenders on loan facilities to condominium boards and home owner associations secured by common charges and assessments.
Prior to joining Certilman Balin, Kevin worked in portfolio management for an economic development agency where he focused on loan restructuring, distressed assets, property redevelopment and commercial loan workouts. Kevin also managed a fund devoted to the beneficial reuse of dredged materials and served on numerous port-based initiatives.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2001, and a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University in 2008. He is admitted to practice in New York.
